Markand

Markand is a city in The Reign, located near Dunmore and the Wolfswood.

History

According to Story So Far, on the 6th day of the Month of Rain, a group of pioneers hired on with Kirkwood and left Markand for Dunmore. This journey would set in motion the events chronicled in the early adventures.

On the 8th, while traveling from Markand, the group was attacked on the road - their carts were destroyed and small artifacts and a few scrolls were stolen.

Location

Markand appears to be:

• A starting point for expeditions into the frontier regions
• Near the Wolfswood (also called the Iron Wood)
• Connected by road to Dunmore
• A place where adventurers and pioneers can find work
