Vattarn

Vattarn is a city in The Reign known as the "city of spires, palace of eunuchs, priest of cities."

History

As described in The Beleaguered Gods, Chapter Two, Alam Ka'enat Kyandr (in the guise of Lasham Al Qasimi, the "Djinn of the west") traveled to Vattarn after his escape from Titus Arrakis.

The Visit of Al Qasimi

Al Qasimi was fêted by Vattarn's "oft befuddled leaders and its limp warriors whose pride far outstripped their power." He was ensconced in a palace and overladen with gold.

From Vattarn, he sent word to gather The Beleaguered Gods:

Eventually, Al Qasimi shed his disguise as the Djinn of the west and "humbled the porcine lord of Vattarn that city of half-men but in an act of infinite mercy" allowed him to continue. He then set forth with the Ruby of the Wi'nyk towards a northern destiny.
