Sitting at the fork in the River Titus, Elia is a shipping thoroughfare, and little more. About one hundred fifty miles due north of Avalon, it acts as a transit point between the lumber camps and ore mines throughout The Pale, and along the two branches of the river. Depending on the flow of goods, the primary destinations are either Avalon or Dunmore, which sits atop a high coastal cliff, almost 800 miles downriver and fifteen miles south of the river's opening onto the sea.
