The Stone Council

Overview

The Stone Council was a leadership group of the Old Gods that governed before The Usurpation of the Old Gods. Members of the Stone Council survived the Usurpation and returned as part of The Beleaguered Gods.

• Crone - Appeared during The Siege of Avalon: A City Saved by Gods, where she teleported Ohtar (actually Eramos) away before he could be killed by Zeekon, and provided The Beleaguered Gods with a reverse teleportation beacon

Activities During The Return

During The Siege of Avalon: A City Saved by Gods, Crone demonstrated the Stone Council's continued influence by:

• Intervening in the battle beneath Avalon in the Hall of the Gods
• Saving Eramos (disguised as Ohtar) from death
• Providing tactical assistance to The Beleaguered Gods despite her intervention to save their enemy
• Allowing the explosive plan against the elven army to proceed

This suggests the Stone Council may have complex motivations beyond simply defeating the Akkosian usurpers.
