Stone Council

The Stone Council was the leadership group of Old Gods in ancient times, before they were usurped by Eramos and the Akkosian Pantheon.

History

The Stone Council ruled over the mortal realms for ages, guiding humanity and other races through their divine wisdom and power. Each member held a specific divine portfolio and totem of power.

Twelve centuries ago, the council was overthrown during The Usurpation, when Eramos and his followers killed or imprisoned the Old Gods. Many of the council members were slain, while others like Alam Ka'enat Kyandr, Zeekon, and Croaker were imprisoned in magical slumber.

Reformation

In the aftermath of the Battle of Avalon, the Stone Council has been reformed by The Beleaguered - those Old Gods who have returned to power. The presiding Gods and their practical authority are still being determined as the Age of Fire begins.
