Little is known about the Elder Powers, save that they represent the primal forces and currents of the universe. They are believed to be the prime source of magicks in Verden, but except for a few conflicting accounts from various holy books, even this is not known for sure.
The Elders are cosmic entities that most often manifest as dragons, though their true nature may transcend physical form entirely. On Tarras, they are the foundation of the divine and magical order—each Elder's essence intersects with the four Spheres of reality (Life, Mind, Matter, Power) to create The Twenty Domains of godhood.
It should be noted: These five Elders and their associated domains are specific to Tarras. Other continents may have different cosmic powers or entirely different systems of magic and divinity.
The Elders that follow represent Fate, Ruin, Luck, Preservation, and the Void, respectively.
The Elder of meaning, purpose, and significance. Kirkwood's domains deal with destiny, direction, and the intentional shaping of reality.
